What about if for any reason we cant get prescription antibiotics. Are there non-prescription antibiotics available that work against infections? Any ideas?

Check the archives here and on the prep forum for colloidal silver. Ask Doc Schenker if you have questions!

You can get real antibiotics through three different veterinary supply houses on the internet. These are the identical ones used by humans, but priced so cheaply because people will only pay so much for pet's meds (without medical coverage), and you can get them without a prescription. Many, many people on the forum and other forums are doing this. Go to www.lambriarvet.com for one. Also, go to the TimeBomb2000 PreparationForum and see my recent thread inquiring which are the most important ones to get, and see Dr. Bill's and others' responses. (It may now be in archives)

Get the book "The Green Tea Book." Green tea is a specific for many human illnesses. Drink as many cups a day as you wish--it is highly beneficial and has few side effects (heartburn might be one if you drink your tea very strong). Some of the things that green tea (camellia sinensis) is good for is immune system enhancement, cancer prevention, lowering of total cholesterol, longevity, and is specific against bacteria such as staphlococcus. Don't wait for the book. Start buying and drinking your green tea as soon as possible. I am a breast cancer survivor. They removed the lymph nodes in my right armpit when they removed my breast, and as a consequence, whenever I had a cut or an injury on that side, it festered immediately (within an hour or two) and took sometimes two or three weeks to heal. I am in good health otherwise, and just accepted the problem as part of the deal. I started drinking green tea about a month ago, and when I got a rather large lateral-slicing paper cut on my right thumb, I was sure I would be wearing a bandage for a week. Within four days the cut was gone. No festering, nothing. It just healed up and went away. Sorry for the "testimonial" but I am really interested in getting as many people as possible to explore the beneficial properties of green tea. If you have had cancer treatments, green tea makes them more effecting on smaller doses; helps keep the cancer from returning, etc.

Elaine,

Just ordered the jumbo pennicillin (18 bucks for I think 250 cc?) and syringes, so I can save like 3 villages now. I've been searching without result for the past couple of months, and thought these opportunities were only a rumor....Thanks so much Elaine! And I passed the tip onto a GI friend on the AS message board too.

I clicked on the image to read the label, and verified Pen BP is pennicillin in liquid form.

You may also wish to search under "olive leaf extract" or "calcium elenolate".

The active ingredient in olive leaf is oleuropein, which contains the calcium elenolate.

Don't be confused by the labels on this herbal supplement!

Some is sold as just "olive PLANT extract"--but you may not be getting any of the leaf's active ingredient.

Supposedly, olive leaf extract is an all-round bug-killer, INCLUDING viruses. There are many of the more well-known medical doctors who swear by it--Dr. Andrew Weil, Dr. Robert Atkins, etc.

The bottle I am looking at now is 90-500 mg. gelcaps, olive LEAF EXTRACT, brand is Herbal Factors, price is about $20 Can. It contains 10% Oleuropein. This is in Canada, so you would have to look for American brand names.

It was a thread just days ago on medical preps that lit the bulb to tell me that this was one area I had not thought of! It also is important because I'm sure many of you have the "zip-top" canned goods--what will you do when someone slices their hand opening one of these?

My answer, as I thought it out, was to prevent it by buying a measly $5 pair of LEATHER gloves--you only need to wear one, really(the left one if you're right-handed), so that the other is free to pull the ring.

Before rushing out to stock up on antibiotics (which means against life) BTW, read the enclosed FAQ on what antibiotics can and cannot do.

Antibiotics do not discriminate as to what bacteria they try to kill. The will kill good as well as bad bacteria in your system.

Antibiotics will not kill all bad bacteria, and in fact may cause bacteria to mutate within your body.

Antibiotics block the absorbtion of vitamin C in your system.

If you are going to take antibiotics, then take Vit. C as well as a good Acidophilus supplement to replace the good bacteria in your intestinal tract.

Antibiotic FAQ

Get natural antibiotics instead..like burdock, echinacea, just to name a few.

Echinacea and Goldenseal, available at your local drug stores and grocery stores! Works great! I have stocked up. Keep up those reserves of Vitamin C, too!

www.utopiasilver.com

CS generator for $35. They're good folks there, prompt and extremely helpful (online tech support!). I bought a generator from them, otherwise not affiliated.

Also, I just read through the thread quickly, but I don't believe anyone has yet mentioned fish antibiotics in particular. You can buy these at your local aquarium store rather than ordering online. I would also want to have a Merck manual on hand to calibrate doses, check for contraindications, etc. You can buy that at the drugstore.

Rainman, I'm with you. Echinacea...and garlic.

-- Rachel Gibson (rgibson@hotmail.com), December 06, 1999.

I have stocked some Echinacea, but I found that they are not strong enough for a bad infection. My neighbor gave me some bioProtien A powder to try and I got well in about 2-3 days. Taste pretty good. Same progress with my little girl. No side effects felt. She gave me a site to get more info. http://www.geocities.com/hotsprings/falls/9793. She told me there're several naturol Antibotics there, but I can't remember the othe names, something Immuneco(sp?). I have also used sucessfully sambucol for our fevers which run in the family several times a year. Good luck
