Need times for Efke R50 in HC110

greenspun.com : LUSENET : B&W Photo - Film & Processing : One Thread

I am in need of information on anyone's experience with Efke R50 in HC110. I have a guy sending me some R50 to reverse process. I don't have access to this film where I live and thus cant go out and buy a roll to work out my first developer conditions. Since my first developer is a modification of HC110, I can use times for developing a negative to extrapolate to get more or less acceptable results. Unfortunately, none of the sources that I can find list times for HC110. If anyone is using HC110 for this film could you tell me your dilution, developing time and, if you have calculated them, the gamma or contrast index you get.

Thanks for your input.

I have no experience with the film you mention. However, it is listed on the following site: http://www.digitaltruth.com/. Unfortunately, as you say, HC-110 is not listed... Maybe not a success with this film?

Fritz, hopefully you're done with this project and all is well. If you're still workin the slide rule, I might have some info you can use. Search the previous page for Efke and PMK, my post of a few months back. Remember the film I talk about is KB-25. I have not used the R-50. I used very dilute HC-110. email for more notes.
