gas masks outlawed

Could anyone direct me to some articles that verified the fact that gas masks were outlawed in Seattle or is this a rumor? Thanks

A mom: YES, Mayor Paul Schell cooked up the "declaration of civil emergency", and with that he "declared" gas masks outlawed. It happened Monday afternoon, it is/was NO rumor. Just check the Seattle Times....or call the Seattle Public Library Information Please number (206)386 4636 How do you like how that was cooked up on the spot? Look and learn, folks, look and learn.

Also in the Soviet Union private ownership of radiation meters was outlawed. Next? Let's hear it for the good ol' United States of Amerika.

The word nimcompoop was coined for nimcompoops like His Honor the Mayor.

Don't have a definition but I'm sure it's like...nilpotent; equal to zero when raised to some power.

I mean, it's like the guy is saying, OK we're the good guys and you (evil taxpayers) are the bad guys so no fair protecting yourselves from us when we come to cream your face!

Police haul hundreds to jail

by David Postman, Jack Broom and Florangela Davila Seattle Times staff reporters

"At this morning's news conference, Stamper also said that nobody but police would be allowed to possess or use gas masks within the restricted zone. Police in and around the zone told journalists the same thing, seizing the mask of a news reporter."

So a mom, evidently they were not outlawed, only restricted. Based on the post from Impala, gas masks are still allowed outside of the restricted zone. (Thanks Impala)

Gas masks are not banned.......

The obvious logic is that the anarchists were using them as a way to avoid being recognized......

I certainly don't want a bunch of vicious thugs roaming around downtown and if a temporary measure was established in order to maintain order then so be it.......I'll be as concerned as you if they ban them forever!

Some of you extreme paranoids are best described as what Mickey Mouse accused Minnie of doing with his best friend!!

Craig,

Paranoia; mental disorder characterized by delusions that are ascribed to the supposed hostilitly of others.

So, if I have delusions of the government banning fire arms, gas masks, confiscating property, money, from citizens because of suspicion on the part of the DEA etc., without proof, taxing us beyond reason etc., I am paranoid? Or if the government bans the use of certain drugs and then promotes the use of certain drugs there is no contradiction here? No, I don't use drugs, not even the government sponsored drugs.

Here in California, as in most states I believe, usury was illegal and anyhting over 4% interest was considered usury. However now the government has allowed the Fed the ability to set usury rates. You don't see something wrong here?

Amendment IV

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

How is a citizen secure in their effects if the Government has the ability to seize property from a person who is unable to pay taxes?

Why are wealthy borrowers given preferential interest rates while a not so well off person is punished by higher rates? Of course, they are "high risk" and the more money we (the usurer) exact form them the less risk involved. Right? Wrong! The usurer is wrong and the governmnet is wrong for allowing the citizens to be forced into slavery. "The borrower is slave to the lender."

Perhaps you are the deluded one. The deception is strong.
