Good Luck everyone

Well here it is, December 1999. After so much preparing, y2k is almost upon us. I a more convinced than ever that our society is in for major disruption and even disaster. I fear that not everyone who reads this will survive to see the year through. And even more who don't read this won't make it. I plan to bunker down now and cut off communications with the outside world. My family is ready for come what may, I only wish the outside world was also. So goodbye to everyone for now, thanks for making me feel like I'm not alone, and I hope to see most of you on the other side.

Susan Regards.

Remember it's not `x-mas' (poliCorrect), but Christmas!

Cut off communications with the outside world?? Are you nuts?

Remember Susan, there is nothing to fear but fear itself.

In war time, communications are even more vital than ever. You'll have no way of knowing what's "coming at you" without every communications. You can't just count on public radio and its mainstream media, you know.

Personally, I think this forum is the best single source of information we can find, since we are collectively pooling our information gathering abilities and posting our findings and insight here.

Why unplug as long as the net in available??!

"Remember Susan, there is nothing to fear but fear itself."

If you are joking, a "smiley-face" would help - ;-)

If not, try this: Continuously repeat "There is nothing to fear but fear itself" while walking around in DeeCee after midnight. For additional giggles, before your DeeCee trek, try repeating that mantra to the starving masses in your favorite 3rd-world country.

"....I hope to see most of you on the other side."

"Most"? Hope that's not prophetic, Susan.

Anonymous99,

Aaah, I see. You obviously still fear death. I'm sorry to hear that, but if you'll spend a little time getting in touch with your soul I think you'll find that there really is no need for fear, and that it only destroys the joy of life. To allow your experience of life to be governed by fear is living in hell, which is far worse than death.
