I am thinking of buying a Video Cd player.

Is this technology a worthwhile investment? I have had a regular VCR for some ten years - is VCD a comparable investment?

At this point get a DVD player instead that: -is codefree -plays VCDs, ver 1/1.1/2.0 -reliably plays CD-Rs -to gild the lily, also plays the new SVCD format.
