Are there any published articles that compare different T-shirt transfer papers for use with HP DeskJet printers?

i used the xerox image transfer for a tee shirt last night with my epson printer and it came out nic

I was hoping there would be some responses. Actually I have an epson and equally interesting would be any info on how permanent the transfers are. I've heard they can be washed but it would seem real permanence is unlikely.
