Stockpiling - On the way to being criminal like the Gas Masks?

Is this the precursor to banning stockpiling of individual supplies? Right now its just "concern", but what about if some agency (FEMA) decides that all our preping should be shared with who THEY THINK it should be shared with. In other words you had best voluntarily turn yourself in as a hoarder of supplies beyond a 3 day amount. Or better yet, who will determine the correct and legal amount 3 days? one week? one month? Notice the article says stockpiling (implying legal amounts) and hoarding (implying illegal amounts). Actually the stores in my area of Florida are all crammed full. I can walk into numerous stores and buy generators (more than one!). The food stuff is running into the isles like I've never seen in several grocery stores. Huge pallets of canned stuff stacked in the isles like the grocer's are becoming local sam's clubs. Nor are banks seeing any serious withdrawals. If they really did print the money, I don't see a cash shortage likely to occur. People fall into two groups.. those who know y2k is nothing and won't withdraw much (less than 200$). And those who can't afford to withdraw cause they are are the working class just making ends meet. Those who will withdraw are the 1%... a lot of them are forum readers. Actually I don't think stockpiling has limited food supplies. Just the opposite it has allowed families to have a cushion to share with the DGI family members and friends. That will certianly help to reduce y2k panic if things go bad. But you should see how easy it is to declare things as "illegal or immoral" with the rule saying gas masks were banned in WTO area. Just subsitute food hoarding for gasmasks and ask are you guilty?

Today I think I'll purchase cans of Ol' Roy dog food to give to FEMA if they should knock on my door. I'll have some recipes to give them such as Ol' Roy Meatloaf, Ol' Roy Wally Meatballs, and Sam's Special Ol' Roy burgers.

You should probably get "Alpo" ... highest fat content of any dog food!

-- Bruce (broeser@ccgnv.net), December 02, 1999.

Alpo is too expensive, I'm cheap.

-- bardou (bardou@baloney.com), December 02, 1999.

buy a crapload of Ol Roy, and trade the lables with your human food....then when they come knocking you can send them away with yoyur cans of Nalley "Ol Roy" Chili :)

just get a sharpie marker and write the actual contents in very small on the bottom of the cans.

ACtually, it would be better to come up with a number code system for your food, rather than write the actual contents on the can. Most grunts are half-retarded anyway..they wouldn't notice.

Canned squid. (csy2k tip)

On the other hand... a store here locally is selling 5# sacks of flour for $.68. With a little salt and some sourdough starter that will make 5 loaves of bread at about 15 cents a loaf. Since I started stocking up a "while" ago, I have some pretty old white flour to contribute to the cause (since I just got some of the new flour). I'll bring the loaves if someone else can bring the fishes.

I would like to retract my statement about grunts being "half retarded". It was a stupid thing to say. I guess I let the NWO people get to my brain for a second. We should support our military folks. Many of them are hard working respectable people who do jobs that most of us would rather not do.

That being said, I would like to thank Billy Boy for his latest post.

... you also noticed how "quickly" this new ordinance got written, didn't you?

Notice the manistream media isn't worried about it? Isn't publicizing it?

Or, as one of Clinton's aides (Paul Bagala-sp?) said: "Stroke of the pen...law of the land...pretty cool, huh?" (Referring to Presidential executive orders and directives).

Is canned squid rubbery in texture?

-- dinosaur (dinosaur@williams-net.com), December 02, 1999.

Dinosaur -- Get you some rubber bands from Office Depot and some fish oil -- makes a good, cheap substitute for squid.
