Does anyone have some suggestions for xtol with tri-x 35+120 and agfapan 35+120,dilutions and suggest i.e.'s would be great.

Kodak's website has a full data sheet on Xtol. It has an extremely thorough list of developing times for a variety of formats and a variety of dilutions. I have been satisfied with both 1:2 and 1:3 dilutions. Kodak recommends a minimum of 100 ml of stock Xtol per roll of film, whatever your dilution. Try some, it's great.

Kodak's site on XTOL gives times for 35mm, 120, and 4x5 with small tank or rotory processing. Multiple contrast indexes are listed which is useful. XTOL's true speed increase works well with long toe films like Tri-X. Tri-X developed in XTOL 1:1 with 5x7 enlargements produces a long tonal scale and no grain in detailed image areas.
