This evening we were driving down the road to pickup a used hot tub my wife just bought (yes honey, y2k is probably a dream). I look up in this beautiful north florida sky and see 6 jets ... What are they doing? 4 going one direction and two another. criss crossing --- way lower than most of the airlines fly and yet all at the basically same altitude. My first thought was it was strange seeing them all pretty much the same height as in air traffic control danger! Is it just air travel norms do you think? These were making short chemtrails... but still the parnoia gets to you after a while. Can it really be some sort of preparation for chem warfare or terroist? Or are these chemtrail reporters all nuts and now I'm one too?

Fairborn Ohio, just outside Dayton.... An absolutely spectacular day for chem-trails. Covered the otherwise clear blue sky from one horizon to the other, from early morning until mid-afternoon, finally dissolving into a wispy haze.

And I seem to be the only person noticing it.

I live in the Urbana-Champaign, IL area and have noticed the occurance of chemtrails over our skies has been increasing lately. Today the sky was busy all morning and afternoon with the trails. (I am a mail carrier and am outdoors most of the day). My husband (thinking this was another one of my "paranoias" as in New Madrid Earthquakes, Y2k, etc.) is now a believer of this also.

Folks, it is legal for the US military to test bio-warfare on the general population, yes without your knowledge and consent. This is why folks get SICK after a spraying, because the spray is designed to , uh, make you sick. Sorry folks. Why is this hard to believe?

live back in a valley in the mts don't see much sky but went to town Monday and chem trails all over the west texas sky, everyone in the small town we shop at is sick, bad coughs upper respratory stuff, got out supplies and came home...what are the symptoms of antrax vaccine???

Never looked up before last week but saw them on perfectly cloudless day. It was last Tuesday and there were NUMEROUS trails over southside of Indianapolis, crisscrossed at a relatively low altitude, maybe 5,000 to 10,000 feet. I didn't think anything of it until I read a previous contribution. Someone said the normal altitude for regular condensation contrails is above 20,000 feet. If this is true then what I saw was definitely abnormal. Looked EXACTLY like the trails in this photo:

I thought this chemtrail shite was a joke until I saw them over the valley here in Vegas....it eventually turned into a thin cloud cover...it was freaking weird.

I don't recall getting sick thought..this was about 3 weeks ago.

Yea, I thought this chemtrail phenomena was nothing but a bunch of hype.Until, I started watching the sky more closely.They're flying directly over my house also. This is very strange, something is either about to happen or going to happen; they are preparing for something.

Contrails. It is like being pregnant. When you are pregnant you suddenly notice how many other pregnant women are are around you.

The same go with contrails. When you become aware of them, you suddenly see them everywhere.

So once again I will explain them to you.

Military aircraft have been training a lot lately due to Cosivo and especially new recruits. These jets have a function called afterburner, What it is, is water is added to the fuel to provide additional thrust, usually during take off or when they are climbing to very high feights. Due to weight and mass considerations very little water can be carried for this purpose. The added water to the fuel causes greater expansion which causes greater thrust. Beyound this, the higher an aircraft flys the more likely you will see natural contrails from them slicing through the thin atmosphere.

Now there are AirForce Bases in every one of the areas mentioned above. I went to tech school in Rantoolie, outside of Champagne myself.

The contrails were in the local TV news in the Miami area a few months ago. The Air Force tried to explain them as military exercises during which chaff (sp?) was dropped to confuse radar. I don't watch local TV news very often, so perhaps someone else can add to this. I haven't seen any personally, but there are so many reports of them associated with unusual flight patterns that a reasonable person must conclude that something unusual is happening.
