Columbia Ski Parka: Pacific Rim? & 'fleece' vs. 'synthetic' liners??

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Mount Brighton Ski Patrol : One Thread

Columbia Sportswear is REPLACING my old Bugaboo Ski Jacket under their 'limited lifetime' warranty policy. (Ask me later how I handled it!)

TWO QUESTIONS: Has anyone ever seen or heard of the 'Pacific Rim' model? ...or do you know a local dealer who might carry this model. I haven't found it in Ann Arbor, although it's a new fall '99 jacket. Any suggestions??

What's your opinions and pro/con advice on ski parka liners: ?? Talk to me about your experience with 'fleece' vs. 'synthetic' liners.

THANKS in advance. I'd like to make my decision by Wed. 12/08/99.

You could try Columbia's web site, but I didn't see the Pacific Rim model on there. They do have a listing of dealers, by location, so maybe you could find it in a store.
If you don't mind driving a bit, you could check at the Columbia outlet at Birch Run. It's only about 50 minutes from Brighton.

Gary you want fleece. Since this discovery I have been warm and toasty on the slops.
