Anyone have links to firms having remediation problems?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread

Because I suggested to some of the secretaries today that they might wish to order their supplies a bit ahead, since I have been reading about many firms having supply chain problems due to the changeover to SAP System, etc., one of them really tried to make a fool of me in front of the others...not once, but twice. She said, "I am not about to change my [materialistic]life and what I am doing just because of..." and she trailed off. I said I didn't ask her to: I talked about having supplies on hand to conduct business.

I'd like to have a handout today for the secretaries, with the names of firms having problems. All help appreciated! :-)

Elaine,

That secretary is sorely mistaken: She *is* about to change her lifestyle and what she does...perhaps in as few as 31 days.

Uh, Wilferd, you Do have proof of this right? Oh, and the links Elaine wanted, too?

Just wondering.

Gosh, this an awfully short thread. Wonder why that is?

To the two polly trolls who posted here...there ARE links to posts regarding firms that have installed SAP System and are in a world of trouble now due to this!!! Also, you ought to read more...firms like Hershey, Goretex, Fruit of the Loom, etc. are among those with big difficulties. Someone will reply!
