Anyone tried the MP10

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Video CD : One Thread

I4m about to become an mpeger, but I need Your help. I am now looking at Dazzle DVC and Pinnaclesystems MP10. I4ve found some reviews and comments on the DVC but none on the MP10. Have anyone tried the MP10? Does anyone know the difference in quality between them? There seem to be a lot of problems with the Dazzle DVC, does anyone know if the PAL-version works better/worse?

Greatful for any answer or reviews. Hasse, Sweden.

i just got the mp10 today. the Dazzle is a hell of a lot easier to use, but hte mo10 gives a thousand more options, plus im still doing some testing, but it appears the mp10 looks quite a bit better as to the quality of the vcds it produces. However unlike the dazzle which has an option to solve this problem(audio sync). The mp10 doesnt seem to so at times the sound sync can go off with the picture. However on their site they have a download to improve this. i didnt have the chance though to fully check it out. I only tried it out about an hour or so ago. Hey let me know if you hear anything. thanks, hope i helped some

I have a severe problem with audio synch with DAzzle ( USB version ). I use Packard Bell Cyrix 300 MHz. Can you tell me how to solve it since you mention that Dazzle has an option to correct this problem. ( question for Doug F ). After about 30 min, the audio is badly out of synch.

Thanks Kiam Oey

This is one of the worst product from pinnacle... (Studio Mp10). It's only good if you're not gonna install other softwares, which basically you will, and if it does not conflict with drivers, else it wouldnt work. I had to re-install, install my win98 system from scratch to make it work again. The hardware test sucks! I heard it's been phase-out of the video universe. Capture wise its good..once you get it to work and maintain it to work...
