This is an open request to world net daily. I would like you to post part of the fema document y2k "planning assumtions". You did an article yesterday that you had access to this document. You have the smoking gun of y2k in your hands. Like jim lords pentagon papers it is a very inportant document. Please post part of it that discloses what they think is coming.

Mike,

We know what is coming... That's why we toil for the truth on the forum, day-to-day. People have looked to the government and business for answers, but in doing due diligence the answers, with the help of the Internet, are very apparant. Most of what is spewed forth by the government are lies and deceptions anyway.

Six different potential Y2K situations were outlined, one at a time. Jim Graham, the Director of the Telecommunications Research Center (TRC) on the University of Louisville's Shelby Campus, crafted the scenarios and acted as the facilitator to guide the discussions that followed each presentation. The participants covered a wide-range of subjects during the interplay that followed, including such things as the need for some additional public education activities between now and the end of the year, and possible communications problems that could occur both between agencies, and within organizations, should Y2K create unexpected glitches with phone systems, pagers, cell phones, fax machines, mobile radios and many of the modern devices we have become used to in everyday life. "Some of the critical agencies have included in their contingency plans the possible use of staff to act as messengers to make sure that important information gets where it needs to go", Bartlett noted. He added that "this reflects the careful attention to detail and thinking that has gone into some of the Y2K plans."

Mr. Bartlett noted, though, "it is important to point out that the 3- 5 day home preparation recommendations from FEMA and the Red Cross are essentially the same types of things that folks need to be doing anyway to prepare for a possible spring or winter storm."

The second discussion period will include a hypothetical Y2K situation (outlined in the following slide), that will be used to initiate the group discussions. However, this is only a plausible scenario to get participants to move their focus from the "Preparation" mindset, to a "Consequence Management" mindset.

"Consequence Management"
Breakout Discussion Situation

 Low public confidence

 Localized food and fuel shortages

 Unsubstantiated Y2K rumors

Pump stations inoperable causing sewage problems

 Sporatic telephone problems due to:
- Increase in normal New Year phone calls
- Reported 911 dispaching service delays

 Hospitals running on emergency-only basis

Transportation problems -- traffic lights working sporadically, some international flights canceled, shipping and railroad delays

Miscellaneous banking and financial situations have been reported

(Interesting read.)

[snip]

Our approach to Y2K consequence management includes several planning assumptions. It assumes that (1) no major nationwide catastrophic disruptions are expected, (2) smaller, localized disruptions could occur simultaneously, and (3) responses will be handled at local/State level to the maximum extent possible. Should it become necessary, a Presidential "emergency" rather than a "major disaster" will be declared, and assistance will be focused on addressing threats to life, health, safety, and property.
