Some time ago there was a development for slim cards which would fit inside the film space of an ordinary SLR allowing photographers the full benefits of all their existing equipment but recording the results digitally. Does anyone know where I can get such a card please?

Visit www.imagek.com Anyone's guess when--or if--this product will surface. About all they can trumpet is a design for a box to hold it. The sad fact is that the company has dithered, possibly too long, in the face of rapid change. A 1.3 megapixel capability isn't very impressive in late '99. Get some slides or negs scanned to PhotoCD while you're waiting for the "Digital Film" roll-out. I suspect the patent holders will do far better selling the idea to someone with more money and better organization.
