Okay, I'm convinced that I need to have colloidal silver....

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) Preparation Forum : One Thread

... but I'm confused about the most reliable way to make it. Is there a clear consensus among you c.s. advocates about how best to produce your own? Are there simple plans available on the internet? Where can I buy a "generator" to make true colloidal solution?

Thanks very much for your response to this question.

HERRICK:

Here's a protocol I made up to send out to people:

###############################

Unfortunately I've got no time (nor am I good at paperwork) to compile a list of technical references. Also, unfortunately this TB2000 doesn't even have a simple 'search' function -- so there's no easy way for you to make up your own list from some of my detailed posts here since mid-Spring. However, much/most of my technical writings were posted on the (y2k.entrewave.com) forum during 1997 and 1998. And that software DOES have a search function. Go the URL, click on 'Options'. Then on the 'forums' check off 'General Discussion', 'Alternative Energy', 'Y2k Survival', 'Dr. Schenker Speaks', 'Ham Radio Operators - QRU', etc. (If you're interested in colloidal silver only check off only 'Dr. Schenker Speaks.') On the drop-down menu of 'Listed Threads' choose 'last 365 days.'. Then click on 'OK.' This route will give you a whole bunch of postings among many threads, by many different authors, including mine. I think this method will give you a good perspective. (Again, if you're only interested in c.s. go to the thread "Post-Y2K Colloidal Silver? -- Part III." Then go to the post "March 24th Update.")

If on the other hand, you want to restrict what comes up to only my posts then instead of clicking on 'Options' at the onset, click on 'Search.' Leave the 'Query' box empty. In the 'Scope' box highlight 'All Forums.' In author type 'Schenker.' Then click on 'Search.' That should get you all my posts. You'll have to sort thru them to find the particular bits of info you want.

Give this a whirl and report in if you run into trouble with the archives.

###############################

One more piece of advice: don't buy a generator --- construct one yourself; it will be much cheaper AND MUCH BETTER! Follow the instructions I posted above.

If you call the folks at Christian Family Resources, (they put out a catalog on survival items for Y2K and other needs,) they can tell you about a colloidal silver kit they sell for under a hundred dollars. (I can't recall if it's $90. or $95.) It includes a generator, 2 rods of silver, the alligator clips and a book on how to make it, and a lot of info on c.s. These people have been very nice to deal with; I've bought quite a few items from their catalog. Their phone number is 719-962-3228. Their hours are 1-5 MST Mon-Fri. I might add that I looked into another company which sells the unit, and they charge a LOT more! And the picture of their unit looks exactly like the one CFR sells. Colloidal silver is very easy to make.

If you wanted a place to buy 4fl oz of colloidal silver for $10.15,go to www.bluechipgroup.net

MAGGIE:

For about $10.15 you can construct your own c.s. generator, including the silver wires. See my above post.

Bought a really nice little generator setup for $35 from utopiasilver.com. Just made our first batch...works really well. I'm just a happy customer and otherwise not affiliated w/them, but the folks at Utopia Silver are *very* helpful and prompt on delivery. They'll also give you email tech support for the generator.

Thank you everyone for your help.

Dr. Bill-- I tried to get on to www.y2k.entrewave.com and some sort of error screen comes up. I can't get there from here. Any idea why?

I'll check out utopiasilver.com later today

Thanks again

Hi Herrick,

All the above posts are right, you can buy CS, buy a CS generator or make your own generator.

I've done all three -- and just bought another CS generator (that runs off 9 volts; battery, wall-wart, solar panel or a car's 12-volt cigarette lighter outlet) and am going to give my other generator to my sister.

I got it from Elixa in New Mexico. Costs a bit more for the whole setup, but it works well. (I also got an "ointment kit" to make CS ointment, as well as several extra silver electrodes.)

HERRICK:

I think your problem was that you typed: www.y2k.entrewave.com --- when you should have typed just plain: y2k.entrewave.com --- I know, I know, that shouldn't be, but apparently that's the way their URL is set up.

Moral: NEVER trust a computer!

Try it again, & let me know if you don't get thru properly,

I bought a DC (three 9-volt battery) kit for around $65. This included instructions, sea salt, 8oz amber bottle, two .999 silver rods, generator, amber eye dropper from Temple Guard.

Since then I have found out some things - DON'T use sea salt. It tends to produce the silver salts. You can see this as silver/black particles which precipitate out very quickly. Sea salt solution definately speeds up the process dramatically but the size of the particles is too large. Also, the silver salt produced is not good for you and far less effective than true colloidal silver.

I went to Radio Shack and purchased a 30 volt AC/DC converter. Yes, I realize this requires AC (I also have an inverter and the original DC kit for backup). When the electricity is available, this new system is FAR superior to the three battery setup. I cut off the converter's connector and spliced in two alligator clips which I simply connect to the silver rods (can use .999 silver coins in a pinch - just don't let the alligatot clips touch the water). Speaking of water, of course DISTILLED water is required, especially when not using the sea salt.

I find that when using my 30 volt converter with ~16 oz distilled water (nothing else - NO SALTS) it takes about 5-10 minutes before there is an appreciable cloud developing in the water. I let it run for 45 minutes and this produces a yellow tinted colloidal silver solution with few particulates (coffee filter takes care of this) and absolutely NO precipitation of solids, even after several weeks.

This form of colloidal silver is extremely effective, yet harmless. I admit that I do not know the concentration I am making but I do know that it is effective at killing everything that myself, my wife and my 9 year old daughter catch. We take 1-2 teaspoons daily and increase it to 2+ tablespoons daily when we come down with something. Once the cold/infection is gone (2-3 days at the most with our current dosages) we back off to the normal 1-2 teaspoons/day.

I highly recommend discontinuing sea salt if you are currently using this method - save it for when you absolutely have no other choice (e.g. limited battery supply)
