New To C2000

Just got the C2000 earlier in the day and had been playing with it. Like to seek some adivse:

My aim is to print good quality 3R or 4R pictures (happen to have a Epson Stylus P750).

What is the best setting for the camera. (kind of confuse with all the different setting like SQ, HQ and SHQ as well as the 640 x 480 and 1024 x 768). The problem here is that I only have 24 mb (8 + 16) of the smartmedia card and would like to achieve max number of shots out of the limited storage.

The other queries which I've; Is it normal that the LCD cannot be turn on while one does a image transfer straight from camera to PC. I'm using the serial port method. I don't seem to be able to select which image to download to my PC. the only option I've from the camedia software is to download all images. Am I missing something? Can't find a answer in both the camera handbooks as well as the software

Regards

You don't have to download all if you don't want too, you can select which one you want and down load or delete if you want, instead of going to the tool bar and selecting download all, go to "my camera" over on the side to your left of the screen and highlight it, and you can select which pictures you want to download. good luck!!
