What is your opinion of the MINOX ECX as a camera to carry around in your pocket for snapshots. I have a C model and am thinking about selling it and buying a ECX. what do you think? Also, anyone interested in trading?

Bill, the MINOX ECX is an excellent carry around camera, it weights only 2 oz, and has a Leica designed sharp MINAR lens. It has great depth of field from 1 meter to infinity, due to its stop down f5.6 aperture

If your object is about 2 meters, it is very sharp, but for distant scenes such as landscape or architecture picture, the Minox C is better, because you can focus the lens.

I myself prefer the C to my EC ( I don't have the ECX).

One the other hand, the EC or ECX is really a carefree camera.
