I have a Lexar parallel port SmartMedia reader. The documentation claims it only handles up to 16Mb Smartmedia cards. Is this a hardware restriction or a software restriction. If the latter, does anyone know if the latest drivers available on the Lexarmedia.com site will up the max card I can use? I'd like to use 32Mb cards (which are compatible with my digital camera), but I will NOT go back to using the serial port for downloads, and I'd rather not shell out additional $$ for another reader.
