I am a dad with two kids: a son who is 7 and a daughter who is 11. We live in the United States, outside the capitol.

Next week, I am taking my daughter on a trip to London for her very first time. I wanted to make this a special visit for her, and wondered what you could tell us to make the trip less touristy. For example, should we avoid the Millenium Dome, or is that worth visiting? The books say that kids love LegoLand. Is that true? Also, my daughter loves to dance. Might you know of any dance studios where she could drop in to take a class without being a member?

Any advice would be much appreciated.
