I wish to know if anyone can give me some feedback as to the quality of the Canoscan 2710 film scanner? I have not been able to find any reviews. I'm satisfied with other Canon products I own, but I have no idea what to expect from their film scanner. The price of the 2710 scanner seems to be the best deal for the spec's. Any advice?

Hi I have Canoscan and coolsan 3 and Nikon LS 2000 Canoscan has all the good features, except one, it generates horrendous amount of noise in green channel. as a result all of your blacks has green dust (noise) to it.. So coolscan 3. if you can not spend more but my choice is LS 2000 In my workshop we use all of tem around the clock. so its voice of exprance.--------------Abe http://www.lenscape.com
