Recently I noticed what appeared to be a large piece of dust on my Kodak DC 280's rear LCD. Upon closer inspection, I discovered that the offending object is behind the LCD's cover. It obscures something like 4 x 4 = 16 pixels. I've looked at it carefully now with a magnifying lens and it looks kinda like a blob of silvery solder. I don't think this camera has suffered any abuse, so I'm at a loss to explain this phenomenon. Does anyone have any ideas?
