DON'T YOU NOTICE SOMETHING MISSING? : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread

so if washington dc is on the list of the 120 cities for urban warefare plans..... and if washington is one important place we need to keep running after the rollover.........

when do you think we will see visible signs of preparation that are already being seen in other places around the country?

its almost as if they aren't doing anything now to avoid panic but at some point we are going to see sudden massive preparations (e.g. generators, etc)? what do you think?

one guess i do have is that the GREAT MILLENIUM BASH will be a great cover for lots of generators, trucks, storage, etc.

Maybe in Washington D.C. they do not think there will be any need for "preparing" because they do not believe there will be any big problem.

There have been stories about generators for D.C. ... maybe someone better than me could find them and post one, or a link to one, here.

I getting ready to go to work so I don't have time to look for it right now, but I did print out something early last year from "Inside the Beltway". If I remember rightly it stated they were getting calls from people wondering what all the construction was in front of the Pentagon. The piece stated not to worry they were installing some huge solar powered generators. I'll try to find the article after I get home this afternoon.

Just watch any film taken of the Pentagon, and you can clearly see the (new) very large solar panels. Quite obvious. Now for a speculation: really essential parts of the federal government will be relocated outside of Washington. WDC is too vunerable to both terrorist attacks timed to coincide with rollover and civil unrest. I wonder if the stories about large amounts of MRE's being stored in Kansas City area caves and reports of large industrial gensets being trucked west into Missouri could tell us something?

Our brave politicains are too smart to be any where near DC. I would not be suprised if most of the department big wigs choose to visit Aunt What's her name in Podunk, Western State for the big rall-over. Remember the motto Surrender early, surrender often.
