It is half-time of the first regular season game and KU's freshmen look impressive. None of the freshmen -- Collison, Gooden, and Hinrich -- look like freshmen.

During a commercial I started wondering about top KU freshmen over the years. A couple of names come to mind immediately -- Jacque Vaughn and Danny Manning. I also remember being impressed with Darnel Valentine from the beginning.

Does anyone remember any stronger freshmen? What about a stronger freshmen class than this season's?
