I have a SonyFD91...i am finding that the pics i take never come out crisp and clear.. they all appear to have a fuzzy edge, giving the impresion they are out of focus. Can you tell me, is this a known problem with this camera.

Mavica is famous for having the worst image quality in the digital camera industry, but I'm guessing your problem might be due to camera shake since mavica also has the biggest zoom. I have a similar problem sometimes with 5x zoom on my 505. Are you cranking the zoom pretty high on your shots? Hard to hold the shot steady enough to avoid blur maybe? See if a tripod helps. You said the blur is only on the edge though, some zooms do that at their extreme focal lengths, don't know about the mavica one.

You hit the nail on the head. You need a tripod for best results. I took over 160 photos this Christmas weekend with a Mavica MVC-FD73.

I was quite impressed with the outcome when the tripod was used, it's just keeping the subject still and that's difficult to do when you want a candid picture!

Where's the best place to try and showcase your pictures?
