I believe Poe was bipolar even though I don't have proof. I'm bipolar and I think that's why I feel so connected to him.

Well if Poe was bi-polar quote quote I think that was his business if I was Poe I would be bi-polar to people always putting you down and the only time you get credit for your work is when your dead!

I was diagnosed with BPD and i have always written dark-themed poems to express my depression. Therefore, i do believe that Poe was also a sufferer of this disease.

I do believe that Poe was bi-polar. However, I have no proof to back up my statement. I will say that, suffering from it /mildly/ I can admit that Poe did hold many of the traits. I, also, have a strange attraction to Poe's literature and perhaps this is the reason for it.

I DO NOT BELIEVE THAT POE WAS BI-POLAR, BUT I DO BELIEVE THAT HE WAS SEVERLY DEPRESSED. POE HAD NO ONE TO LOVE AFTER HIS MOTHER AND WIFE VIRGINIA BOTH DIED. HIS FATHER PUSHED HIM AWAY AND CAST HIM OFF AS IF HE WAS NOTHING. POE WAS ALSO BORN WITH SOME TYPE OF ALCOHOL POISONING BECAUSE OF HIS BIRTH MOTHER. SO IF ANYONE IS TO SAY THAT POE IS A DRUNK, WELL SO WHAT, IT IS NOT HI FAULT.
