what should i get for christmas?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Squishy : One Thread

I don't know some of the cool toys and things I should ask for, so give me your recommendations. (I'm looking for things to give as well). If you have the perfect gift, however, e-mail me so that my nosy/loving friends and relatives don't get their gifts spoiled.

Thanks!

Well, I don't know if this is really what you want for christmas, but I think Jake is going to get this for me:

They've released a box set of all the Nightmare on Elm Street movies. Yeah, yeah, I know, I know, that's extremely cheesy! But when I was a teenager I absolutely LOVED those movies, so when we saw the ad on a video that we rented the other day, I mentioned that I wanted them. So last night, he surprised me with the first one. I guess I wasn't clear enough about the fact that I wanted the entire box set. But I guess it's like 100.00+ dollars.

"Maybe for Christmas." He said, so we'll see.

There's always the Milllennniuummm collector's tins of Clue and Monopoly (since you're board game playing folk.=)

CDs. CDs and DVDs (to go with the new DVD player). That's what we're going for this year. Maybe a new stereo. We already bought our own TV, so my parents need to divert that four hundred dollars to something else. We should score big this year! (=

What should you get? Three words: Little.Blue.Box.

Yeah, baby.

Allison, I don't know you, but I think I should! Then you could email the little blue box suggestion to my husband, psycho@psychotronic.com and then I could have a really great xmas!

I think I am giving people duck presses for xmas. I like giving gifts that people don't need.

Duck presses? Don't you think the ducks might have something to say about that?

you need a digital camera...and ticket to "Kids in the Hall" but you will have to wait till Feb. to see them so I think you need both.

Stupid.com is a cornucopia of gift ideas -- stupid toys, stupid candy, stupid keychains. I just know someone on my list needs a sumo wrestler battery-powered fan, or a working "Operation" game keychain.

Plus they have the magic trick where the rabbit throws your card in the magic toilet.

Hi, for those of you who've visited my site because of the link I leave here, you know that I'm trying to pimp t-shirts from there. As the gift giving season is here, I'm trying out a new idea to get this idea off of the ground with a $4 plan. Every t-shirt purchase gets you a $4 credit for your next shirt, and every new referral you send me also gets you a $4 credit.

As an incentive for Pamie to allow this sales pitch to stay in this forum, I'm going to give her the $4 credit for every new referal this forum may send my way. Just mention that you found my site from here. (Hey, if she builds up enough credit, she may be able to try her own t-shirt pimping, if she can assemble her own design.)

So if you've got more friends in the $20 gift-giving range than you have gift ideas, I hope you'll surf by my site, and maybe consider supporting another DIY web person.

Also, anyone out there with their own site can set up links to my site, and get $4 credits from any new referals their site sends me.

Thank you for your time.
