Paula, a flight went down over Bosnia a couple of days ago as well. No updates on the cause.

Military aircraft crash all the time. In just doesn't make the news most of the time. Military flying especially off carriers is inherently dangerous. A navy pilot over a 20 year career has about a 10% chance of dying in a crash. This is NOT counting combat. I used to investigate aircraft accidents as part of my job in the Air Force.

Oh ya, it's only "still Y2K stupid" when it suits the Doomers need to look scary and grim. Otherwise they use Y2K freely to spread unneccessary fear. Too bad fear wasn't worth something.... you guys would become millionares over night. You sure do seem to have a monopoly.

You know, the ONLY big thing the government promised us was that planes would NOT fall out of the sky....and they're falling all over the place! What a mess!
