An elderly family member of a friend of mine heard (don't know from where) that the nuclear plant, Millstone, in CT was going to be shut down during the rollover and this is causing her some concern. I know nothing of nuclear plants. Do any of you have any information on this or can you guide me to a place to find out? Thanks in advance for this information.

Answers

There are currently no plans to shutdown any nuclear plants due to y2k concerns. A simple call to the plant will tell if a scheduled maintenance shutdown is taking place then.
