WHEW!

That's all i can think to say! I have talked to most of my far away friends this week. (4 in the last few days) And LO and Behold!, they all have GOTTEN IT!!

Makes one's heart warm, ya' know?

They have purchased enough for several months for themselves and their kids....AND...(perhaps best of all)...enough for some of those around them!! (LIKE ME)

Ya' see, I rate myself at about a 6. But it is probably gonna be a very looooooooooong 6. Months. up to 18.

I remember the late 70's (not well:). At that time, gas prices doubled due to a 4% drop in OPEC output. The changes came on almost overnight. You raise the price at the pump, the price goes up across the board. THAT'S the "scary" part.

Nice to know that those i love, will be able to "weather" all but the worst of storms. If it gets worse than that, I think we'll all be TOASTY OATS anyway.

Still working on some of mine... even to the level of going shopping with them. (Mountain bicycles coming up).

Learned to "let go" on others, bless them and imagined them going to "their highest place of learning."

Actually, there are solutions to this dilemma.

1) Move away ahead of time from the (soon-to-be) starving masses (my favorite).

2) Don't let the starving masses know you have food.

3) Shoot the starving masses. (Only works for small numbers, and for a small # of occasions.)

Those aren't such difficult concepts, are they, now? ;)

Whaddya MEAN "shooting them only works in small numbers"? I got almost 5,000 rds of .223, and 700 shotshells. *I* can shoot 'em in LARGE numbers....
