Oh, I don't think they are lazy, I think they have been preoccupied with battling government intrusions in every other sphere. But now, thanks to the Washington State pioneers, some of us can refocus on this brilliant form of recovering some of the MISUSED powers we, the people, have delegated to the political class. What has been delegated can always be recovered. The power to tax should never be in the same hands as the power to arrest, jail and punish. (All credit to Patrick Henry, speaking AGAINST the ratification of the Constitution of 1787.) Recovering this power to tax is a primary step in a return to economic and personal freedom.
