Why exactly again are we waiting? Is it a courtesy thing? who's gonna get pissed if we just do this? We decided to try for late July/early August, and I haven't heard of any overlap for those times yet. So, what?

Ah yes, waiting on IBA certification. I say we stop waiting. That's no reason to put this off anymore.

I say we get started now, begin to come up with some names for the rally and vote by a deadline, announce the date(s) of the rally (by some deadline) and get to work. We don't need a full blown web-page to carv out the dates. Staking a claim if you will.

I won't be able to make it over to Marks during the day, thursday (civi, no day off), but could come by that evening. A "formal business mentality" and "plan" is all well and good, but those types of things are living, breathing entities. So let's not make that an excuse for procrastination.
