Hello to all Ohio listeners. The Ohio Consumer Council has a list of links to various utilities you may be interested in.

Sorry, don't know how to hot link.

BTW, since the rollover date is fast approaching, has anyone thought to contact there local Red Cross to donate blood. Doomers or Pollies - they don't care - remember it is for a good cause - whether a BITR or TEOTWAWKI.

Let's try a hot link to the Ohio Consumer Council. If it doesn't work, shoot the messenger.

Actually, Steve, I disagree with the concept of donating blood to the Red Cross. One always hears about how there is a shortage of blood. No, there is a shortage of free blood, just as there is a shortage of free Cadillacs. However, if you are willing to pay market price, there are as many Cadillacs for sale as you could conceivably want.

Look, I will happily donate some of my blood and my time when every person and organization (including vendors of products used in handling/testing/processing blood) involved in the blood industry donates their labor and materials, and neither medical patients nor taxpayers are charged in any way for it. Until the RC is willing to pay a fair price for something they themselves proclaim to be of value, they can expect to be short of it.
