How does the Oly C2020 compare to the Kodak 290?

How does the Olympus C2020Z compare to the Kodak 290? What are the pros and cons of one over the other?

Details like the optical Zoom, focal length, USB/serial and memory cards are easy to understand.

But the technical details that determine a good picture have me confused.

I don't understand aperture range, ISO, exposure, and shutter speeds and how they affect the picture type and quality.

How would the two compare, strengths and weakness, for what kind of pictures? Manual control? Macro mode close ups? My Canon AE1 had great control, but I always used the default mode because of the developing lag.

Suggestions?

John

I have tried them both. I like the Kodak for ease of use. The images are about the same. The Olympus is too small for my hands. Controls on Kodak are self explanatory. I have never used the manual.
