CYBER-CHAT WITH CLINTON TONIGHT...ASK SOME TOUGH QUESTIONS!

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread

Saw it in my local paper. Clinton will be hosting a 90 minute chat session tonight.

It will be next to impossible to get in, but if someone does, what would the formal TB2000 question be? (Serious ones, that is).

Gone looking for the link...

Thanks, Brian. It's from 7:00 - 8:30 PM EST. About 15,000 should be able to connect, and probably not very many will get to submit questions.

Still, it would be fun to ask a POINTED question and guage the response...

Roland,

The way Excite works is the higher the speed of your connection the better your chance of getting on. I am going to try and get on from work.

Questions will be filtered. They will not let you embarras the bastard.

Well I'll be at home with my lightning fast modem. Good luck getting in & let us know how it goes if you do!

I agree they will be filtering out what they answer questions on but depending how they work the Q&A I would like to know how many people ask questions about y2k.

Question: "What was the brand of that cigar?" Or...Do you honest to God think this man will give you a straight answer? Just wondering...

"hey Bubba...HOW can you stand being married to that bitch? "

speaking of the "you know what" (i didn't say it, he did) did you see the PARADE yesterday (i hate that politically correct, puppet "news" magazine). i deduced after reading it, hillary is totally dysfunctional and codependent and married her daddy. her daddy was a supreme narcissist (sp?) who "undermined her sexuality whenever possible". doesn't hubby seem to fit that definition? i bet if we dig deeper and read gail sheehy's book we will see even more matches between her daddy and her little hubby. i say, they both get some good family systems/marriage counseling and give us a break for a few decades.

What we need is for some clever hacker to figure out how to post questions DIRECTLY without the censors. I wonder, if that happens, how fast Bill will disappear from the forum.

Stir it up!

I heard on a news report that not only will all the questions be screened, but Clinton will have 5 other people helping him compose his answers. This is the antithesis of what the internet is all about, and will result in something so sanitized that a formal press conference would be more exciting!
