In the IR-newsletter, why isn't the Nikon Coolpix 700 included? It is a 2.1 Megapixel camera with many of the 950 features - at a price of $500. It even has the "Best Shot System". The megapixel.net rating is: Functionality: 7.8 and Photo Qual: 8.2 The two negatives mentioned are: No Aperature or Shutter priority modes. It seemed like the 800 came out so soon after the 700, that somehow the 700 got forgotten. I've just advised another friend to purchase the 700. (My neighbor purchased one several months ago and is thrilled with it). Why the omission????? Hope I have not steered people wrong.
