Great victory, thanks to "extremists"

The Seattle Times has an article quoting Jim Kneeland, a political consultant (read: hired gun) who worked to oppose 695, who says the error the anti 695 campaign made was to assume people in favor of 695 were "mainstream." Instead, Kneeland says pro 695 people are "extremists."

Wow. That means Washington is just crawling with "extremists," because 695 won with 58 percent of the vote. "Extremists" like the guy who tuned my pickup, and the attorney who lives nearby, and the retired shoe repair shop owner who goes to our church. Really dangerous people who still understand that the power to tax is the power to destroy, and that the bigger government gets, the more it can push us around with impunity. As a native Washington who has seen the tax bite and size of government grow in this great state, I'm glad to know such "extremists," and proud to be associated with them and every other "extremist' in the state who worked for and voted for 695. We fought for and won a very worthy goal!
