If I do not renew my tabs (which expire this month), but wait until January in order to pay the lower tab fee.... My question is, as I understand it the ticket price for driving with expired tabs is $71. What would the fee be for repeat offender? $71 again? Just wondering whether worth it or not to try and run the gamut and not renew till January.

If I paid my license tabs in Sept '99....shouldn't I get a refund for the portion of taxes in 2000? By my estimates I should get a refund of 3/4 of amount paid in Sept '99!

It would be a cruel injustice for a judge to KNOW that 695 passed by such a margine and then to fine you between now and then for expired tabs. THEY CAN and DO anything they want in the infringed courts always keep that in mind. Most all judges and those connected are "papists" by their actions. Also THEY ALL know the difference between a "motorist" and a "driver" and they know that YOU do not. AND THAT is the very reason you were to KNOW the law so no one could BS you.
