Here is a sample of Energy in the Netherlands.

Energy Electricity NAM (Nederlandse Aardolie Maatschappij) has completed the millennium project and should be Y2K compliant by 1st July 1999 In June a national audit will take place on the contingency plan. This plan is ready for up to 80% and will be finished in the 3rd quarter. The electricity sector is making good progress as part of the overall activities in the Dutch energy sector combined in the Energy Millennium Platform. Electricity plants (power companies as well as other industrial sources) and electricity distribution companies will be millennium ready (= millennium compliant and contingency plans ready, tested and implemented) by the end of the 2nd QTR 1999. Regular audits of all parties involved are planned and executed on a regular basis. Results confirm overall approach of problem and progress reported. A national audit of this vital infrastructure will be finished before the end of the 2Q 1999. As part of the millennium effort a national contingency plan for the sector is being developed. The National Energy Contingency Plan (NECOP) will also serve as a contingency plan for other possible major failures. International grid will be operational on zero load situation.
