Proving that he's running for re-election, our disappearing governor today resurfaced and announced today that he would oppose efforts to add motor vehicles to the property tax roles. Pity the gutless SOB didn't say that BEFORE the election, at a time when it would have shown some political courage, instead of the blatent political opportunism this gesture shows.

He also indicated that he would have legislation introduced that would take specific action to insure that vehicles would remain off the property tax playing field.

Will wonders never cease.
