I don't care about the $30 tabs it is the other part that has the government concerned.

This helps stop back room deal making, because you can not cut one groups taxes without making up for it else where or creating a deficit. Now we need to work on a balanced budget Initiatve for every level of government.

Only the federal government is permitted to adopt an unbalanced budget, already. Or are you saying that governments should not be able to use debt financing for high priced purchases? The purpose of a bond issue is to put the cost of the purchase on those who will benefit from it. If you save for 10 years to build a bridge or freeway, those who paid for it may be dead or moved by the time it is constructed. Using bonds puts the expense after it is built, on those who live in the area that are to benefit from it.
