I-695 PASSES IN LANDSLIDE!

greenspun.com : LUSENET : I-695 Thirty Dollar License Tab Initiative : One Thread

The latest numbers show I-695 passing by 59-41. I bet the left-wing liberals are just outraged! LOL!

To top it all off the Republicans won that State House seat in eastern WA and prevented the socialist Democrats from taking control. All in all, a great night.

p.s. Republicans just won control of the Virginia legislature (both chambers!) for the first time EVER! :)

You are an idiot. Thank God conservatives are a dying breed.

Lefty,

It doesn't take much intelligence to repeat socialist mantra. Suggest you get to know some conservatives before they die off, you may find out that they REALLY are smarter than you!

Hey I'm a left wing liberal and I'm not outraged, I'm delighted! This isn't a democrat or republican issue you know. Both those parties have spent money against I695, not for it. So this is about the people versus the politicians. Not about republicans versus democrats.

I am so glad that I was able to cast a direct vote and affect the outcome. Most people believe thier votes do not count in elections, I695 proves them wrong. The most dispicable result of this great intiative is the politicians are going to try and punish the people who put them in office. Since when did the republic become an anointed monarchy. I say let the revolution begin. I think it was Thomas Jefferson who said, "Revolution is the blood of democracy" I695 went along way for the people of Washington to tell the aristocratic politicians no longer can they abuse the power they were given by the people.
