The voice of self criticism is often the loudest one we hear. What does your inner self-critical voice say to you most often?

Mine says to me most often, "If only you didn't leave things so long!" followed closely by "you're such a sucker, Catherine".

Try to suffer the fools more gladly.

"You're Making a Fool of Yourself."

"You're making a fool of yourself about this person."

"You're making a fool of yourself about this project."

"You're laughable and shoddy and all too much a bluff."

"You're making a fool of yourself, and no one will listen to what you say, just what they think you said."

The worst thing, it's often right. I should just resign myself to it and don a clown suit, and get it over with.

"You sound like Elmo when you sing."

"You write like an English major on crack."

"Your acting minds me of frigid women with terrible facial tics."

"You dance with the White Man's Overbite. What were you thinking, boogying in those lame clothes?"

Glitter.

No one likes you.

You only think they like you because they're too nice to be honest.

If any of them DO like you, it's only because they don't know you well enough yet.

Well, today my self-critic is being rather harsh and keeps saying

"Why didn't you plan for this move better?"

"Mom and Dad are right--you are a flake."

"Is it so hard for you to learn how to handle money? Other people your age seem to be able to save money! What the hell is wrong with you?"

"There's no way you're going to be able to pull this off by yourself. Why don't you just accept the fact that you're a total loser?"

Ack!

"There's no such voice named Inner Self-Critical. I'm all one voice and I am you.

My inner voice says that I'm lazy. That I could accomplish more if I'd just get off my fat ass and do it. Thatpeople only like me because they *think* I'm nice; that if they knew the *real* me, they would hate me...my inner voice sounds like my mother.

"Is THAT all you got done today???"

"You're slow, SLOW, S L O W !!"

"Inconsistent, inconsistent, inconsistent..."

"Can't you DO anything about that inconsistency?"

"Are you SURE about that????"

They're irritatingly loud voices, and sometimes I can't shut them up!!!

Sorry!

I THOUGHT I'd turned the "font size=+2" off. What if this format doesn't operate like normal html?

(Low whispering of prickly voice"Are you SURE you've even fixed it now????")

I didn't mean to 'shout'.

Should be QUIET text, now.

If this doesn't work, I give up!
