B&W World Bookstore Temporarily Closed

Black & White World's bookselling partner, Books.Com, has been sold to Barnes and Noble. They have discontinued their affiliate partnership program effective today, and I have taken the bookstore offline.

I am currently looking into my options--most likely either B&N or Amazon--so I can resume offering B&W World readers the ability to buy books from B&W World. If anyone has preferences, or has direct experience as customer or as an affiliate program participant with either site, please email me.

Many thanks!

Good News! Black & White World's bookstore is reopening, with a new retail partner--Fatbrain.Com. Fatbrain's niche market is technical book sales, but as I discovered, they sell every book that the big online bookstores carry, including a ton of photo-related books. From an affiliate point of view, they are also much easier to work with!

I've taken this change of retail partners as an opportunity to completely redesign the look and feel of the bookstore, and am eager for feedback. Feel free to visit it at http://www.photogs.com/bwworld/bwbooks.html, and let me know what you think!

Thanks for your p

I know you need a bookstore with an affiliate program and that limits you, but - Photo-Eye books (www.photoeye.com) is far and away the best source for photography books on the web. They don't discount but they have show catalogs, foreign books, and out of print books that just aren't available elsewhere, in addition to the (undiscounted) standard books. It would be worthwhile seeing if there was some way to partner with them, even in a very limited way.
