"Many of you have called to thank me and the other unpaid volunteer leaders of I-695  the best way you can thank us for our efforts is to write I-695 a check.

We're in the home stretch so sit down RIGHT NOW and write a check  made payable to "I-695"  for $5, $10, $30, $50, $100, $250, $500, $1000 or your most generous donation (our campaign gets fined unless we obtain your occupation, employer, and employer zip code  we don't like it either but please don't let this requirement stop you from donating significantly to our initiative  write this info on your donation check  thanks for your understanding). We'll succeed if everyone gives a BIG DONATION TODAY. Please realize, we must raise $50,000 for a legal defense fund after we win. The battle continues even after Nov. 2nd  we need your help now more than ever."

I've spent over $1,650 on tags this year, and can't afford much more, but my check will be in my mailbox tomorrow. I'd encourage you to do the same, if you're so inclined.

Donation suggestion: Just for this weekend or even into next week, instead of your morning latte, send the money to the Yes on I-695 campaign. Come on all you coffee drinkers, one latte less for the week won't totally kill ya, and it's for a good cause. You can even be proud to say that your gave up your daily caffine for the day because YOU are an I-695 supporter!

Send your money today! Don't forget, even if you aren't able to send a contibution, you can print a Yes on 695 sign and stick it in your car window. Get a sign and put it on your front lawn, wear a pin or a sticker-make your own it you can't get any. Go out and hold up Yes on 695 signs where traffic can see you. Be polite and don't take down the oppositions signs, but put one of ours next to theirs. They may steal ours, but just put another one up, we don't need to be liars and thieves to win this battle as they are.
