Ideally, I believe the Nikon LS-2000 scanner would fill my scanning needs well, but unfortunately is currently out of my budget. So my main question is, "would I be better off getting a used LS-1000 vs. a new LS-30, or should I wait and save my pennies for the LS-2000?" What would I be losing with the LS-1000 vs. the newer scanners? Also, is the Nikon digital ICE software available for the LS-1000?
