Spoke this day a friend who is professed nun and Canon Lawyer regarding this recently brought issue. She states no changed have been made and a practising Catholic is to not join this group. Br. Rich could you comment on this please?

You are correct.... a person who belongs to the Masons, by that very fact, is not in good standings with the Church, no matter how much they claim to be.
