Is the color unmanipulated? If so you certainly have a very nice picture of the dunes? I would like to see the ends of the other two, or a wider angle shot. Pat

My scanner (Polaroid Sprintscan) seems to darken/desaturate scans from slides. Consequently, I use Photoshop to restore the images to their original condition. I use the "adjust...levels" command, and adjust the midtone level until it looks right. Occasionally, I will increase the saturation, if it seems to have lost some snap in the scan, but I don't go beyond the original.

Interestingly, print negatives have no problem scanning in at the proper levels. This is most likely because C41 negs have less density.

James, you've really done a great job capturing these desert images. In what I imagine a vast desert you've isolated beautiful shapes, colors and movement (lines). It makes me want to go to the desert and photograph. Beautiful work! Donna
