Neil,

Is it possible that you are thinking of Kodak's SO-132--Professional Black and White Duplicating Film? It is a very slow, blue sensitive emulsion that will process to a positive in D-76. I am not certain that it is still available in 8x10 sheets however. Give the folks at Kodak a call at 1-800-242-2424.

Freestyle (Arista) in California used to carry it too. I don't have a catalog right now. You may want to check their web site for it.

I think you're talking about Kodak Duratrans. It's a material you print on like paper, but it's designed to be back illuminated. Don't know if they still make it, but check your local Kodak dealer, who should look in the Professional Products Catalog.
