As I view pictures presented on various web pages, I often encounter pictures that look too dim. If I download these pictures and view them on a calibrated presentation (with Paint Shop Pro), they often are quite good. The picture viewer in Netscape is internal --does it have any configuration options that allows adjustment to present pictures with 'standard' brightness ?

I'm sure that those that provide WEB pages get many complaints that their pictures aren't right --because there seems to be no standard.
