I saw a pretty extensive review of the Casio on steves-digicams. Spec wise its a top dog but the sample pics don't look very good to my eyes. My friend got a 2900z, he complains about "grainyness" in the images. He thinks the 2.1 megapix cams generally produce better pics than the 2.3 ones. He chose the fuji because it had an aspect ratio that matched his flat panel screen. They have a review of it on this web site. I have yet to see sample pics or reviews on epson850. The oly 2500 has sample pics around, looks really great, but I haven't read a review yet.

Personally I'm choosing between S10 & DSC505.

We have a review of the MX-2900 up here, at http://www.imaging- resource.com/PRODS/MX29/M29A.HTM, along with a full set of sample images. We're currently working on the Oly C-2500L review, hope to have it up within a week. (In final stages now, but we're backlogged at the layout step of the process at the moment.) The Casio QV-2000 just arrived in-house, it'll be a couple of weeks yet on that one. No luck getting an Epson to play with (Epson has been remarkably standoffish about having us review their products.)
